David W. Gill
Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer
David W. Gill and Elijiah Gray co-founded MileStone Bank. Together the two of them set the vision, mission, and strategic direction for MileStone Bank and lead efforts to achieve and sustain profitable growth. Across a thirty year career, Dave’s roles at various community banks ranged from Commercial Loan Officer and Regional Loan Production Manager to Chief Operating Officer. His experience enabled him to develop deep knowledge and utmost respect for small businesses and establish strong client relationships along the way. Dave’s keen ability to ascertain the needs of business clients caused him to courageously step away from a traditional banking model and create a new and unique approach – Relationship Banking…Without Boundaries – to provide businesses and non-profit organizations the convenience and personalized service they deserve. Dave is a graduate of University of Massachusetts as well as Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Commercial Banking School, and his studies at the American Banking Association’s Stonier National Graduate School of Banking. He is also actively involved in the community, having served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Lower Bucks Family YMCA and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rotary Club. A visionary at heart, Dave’s high performance standards are contagious and have inspired the MileStone Bank team to success measured in numbers as well as meaningful relationships with clients, employees, and shareholders.
Elijiah Gray
Co-founder, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer of MileStone Bank
Elijiah Gray and David W. Gill co-founded MileStone Bank. In addition to partnering with Dave to establish the vision, mission, and strategic direction for MileStone Bank, Elijiah also provides direction for all aspects of bank operations and financial reporting. Her leadership abilities combined with strong finance and management skills are a major driving force behind MileStone Bank’s early and impressive results. Elijiah’s career includes an array of executive positions such as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer at financial institutions within the region. Elijiah graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in business administration (concentration in finance) and completed her post-graduate studies at American Banking Association’s Stonier National Graduate School of Banking. With intense enthusiasm in every endeavor she faces, Elijiah applies the powerful combination of her experience, intelligence, and exceptional work ethic in both business and community involvement. Since 1999 she has served as Treasurer of the Doylestown Athletic Association and is also currently Treasurer of Women Move, as well as on the Board of Directors for JEVS. Elijiah is an ideal role model for business women who aspire to be influential and make a positive difference.
John C. Spier
Chairman of the Board
John Spier’s depth of experience serves as the foundation in his role as the Chairman of the MileStone Bank Board of Directors. In addition to corporate governance and board relations, his areas of expertise include administration, strategic planning and visioning, marketing, capital formation and finance. John has held top leadership positions in various banks; and, as Founder, President and CEO of First Service Bank he became known as an industry expert in denovo banks. Currently serving as a Trustee at his alma mater, The King’s College, he is also a board member of the New York Foundation of Leadership and an active volunteer for various community organizations as well as his church. John is highly respected for his integrity and character and is a valued member of the executive team.
Linda J. Bishop
Senior Vice President of Specialty Markets
Linda J. Bishop is the MileStone Bank brand champion and focuses on building client relationships and affiliate partnerships as well as promoting the benefits of being a MileStone Bank client. She brings twenty years of experience to the leadership team, including roles as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Head of Retail Banking for a regional bank. Linda combines her extensive background with a passion for serving clients beyond their financial needs and connecting them with opportunities that will enrich them professionally and personally. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Gwynedd Mercy College with a degree in business administration (concentration in marketing) she is also an honors graduate from American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management. Her commitment to the community and the industry embody the MileStone Bank philosophy and are demonstrated by leadership roles in various non-profit organizations, her church, and as instructor and curriculum coordinator for Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Advanced School of Banking.
Vicki Burgos
Senior Vice President and Controller
Vicki Burgos meticulously oversees accounting activities and records as well as MileStone Bank’s financial affairs and reporting in her role as Controller. Her career spans eighteen years of well-rounded banking experience as a Credit Analyst, Staff Accountant and a host of additional responsibilities and financial institutions. This extensive background prepared Vicki for her significant role on the MileStone Bank leadership team. Vicki learned the meaning of hard work and mastered the art of focus as she finished her business degree (graduating Magna Cum Laude from Delaware Valley College) while working full time. Attention to detail, respect for accuracy, and responsive follow through are part of Vicki’s mantra and these characteristics are important and appreciated by both clients and coworkers.
Stephanie Ritz
Vice President of Customer Service & Branch Manager
Stephanie Ritz provides direction and guidance to the branch staff to ensure the best-in-class brand promise is delivered consistently. As she interacts with clients, Stephanie's relational style is immediately evident and is representative of the MileStone approach to building trusting relationships that go beyond numbers and forms. Throughout her banking career, she has aspired to continuous growth and professional development that has served her well. Stephanie graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and then completed a certification program from the Executive Leadership Institute for Women offered by KPMG. In addition, she recently attended the legendary Ritz Carlton Customer Service School, and is now enrolled in the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's Advanced School of Banking where she looks forward to building upon and expanding industry knowledge and gleaning new insights from banking experts.
Nancy J. Krulla
Senior Vice President
Nancy J. Krulla is a member of the original founding team of MileStone Bank and is responsible for maintaining high standards of client service, developing branch staff, and ensuring sound operational practices and procedures for regulatory compliance. Twenty years in banking afforded Nancy the opportunity to work in branch banking, commercial loan administration and training which provides a robust background for her current role. No matter who needs help, whether a coworker or client, Nancy has the dedication and capability to provide the solution. Nancy’s contribution to the bank is invaluable and her warm and accommodating personality perfectly represents MileStone’s “first class service on a first name basis” relationship banking approach.
Michele E. Light
Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer
Michele E. Light leads MileStone’s Relationship Banking Team and manages commercial lending policies and procedures. With a rich background in both retail and commercial banking, she has served in various roles including Vice President of Commercial Lending and Branch Management as well as Corporate Training at area banks for over twenty years. Michele’s formal Risk Management Association training has been enhanced by her first-hand experience in client relationship management and serving the needs of a diverse array of businesses in her portfolio. Over the years, she has accomplished an outstanding track record of high client satisfaction and retention. An ongoing stream of referrals from existing clients is proof of the quality service and savvy banking solutions she consistently delivers and now models in her leadership role at MileStone.
